Erika Jackson
Erika Jackson is a healthcare professional specializing in providing legal, compliance and risk mitigation support to physician practices and MSO throughout the country. Erika joined the healthcare industry in 2006 as paralegal of Vision Group Holdings, a multi-unit multistate turnkey management company specializing in the management of refractive laser centers and general ophthalmology practices. During her 15-year employment, VGH grew to support over 150 locations throughout the US and Canada, accomplished through aggressive acquisition and de-novo growth which Erika managed. Erika served as VGH’s Compliance and Privacy Officer, as well as Director of Legal, where she led the creation and ongoing operations of VGH’s compliance, risk mitigation, credentialing and M&A functions.
In 2020, Erika joined the Honor Healthcare team transitioning her vast experience towards providing compliance, legal and risk mitigation support to various healthcare clients serving as their fractional compliance officer, performing pre and post-transactional compliance program assessments and providing legal/corporate governance services to promote their individual business initiatives.
Erika received a B.S. in Legal Studies from South University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She also holds a nationally recognized certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC®) from the Healthcare Compliance Association and several nationally recognized Advanced Certifications from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). Erika is also a Florida licensed real estate agent, is a former member of American Mensa and is CFO and co-owner of Lewis Steakhouse, Lewis Prime Grill and Jackson Construction Group.
